Located just a 15 minute drive from Split airport, Brown Beach House occupies a former 20th century tobacco warehouse and oozes sophistication at every step. Complete with a spa and wellness centre, along with outdoor and indoor pools and a beach area, the hotel is a blissful retreat for days soaked in sunshine.
Overlooking the town of Trogir and the sparkling Adriatic sea that divides the island from the mainland, the outdoor pool has an exclusive yet low-key feel that pairs perfectly with just letting the day melt away around you. I’m never happier than when I have a cocktail in one hand an a book in the other with the anticipation of taking a dip at the end of each chapter.

If your budget doesn’t quite stretch to a stay at Brown Beach House, stop off for a late morning breakfast and enjoy pressed coffee, a Bellini and Shakshuka. All at the same time. The fresh bread, pastries and preserves are just as delicious. What is a holiday for if not an excuse to overindulge?
If you get a little too carried away at breakfast and the heat of the sun is starting to get to your head, the indoor spa is a calming oasis in which to recline and zone out. I find indulging in a spa day midway through a holiday really allows me to unwind fully.

Brown Beach House is complete with 42 rooms and has regular offers outside of peak season. Ideal for a last minute autumn getaway or a spring treat.
