Throughout the month of May, Cohorted are championing the importance of wellbeing in our everyday lives. The past year has been tough on us all and so this month, our Cult Edit is focused on helping you be the best version of yourself. So slow down, take some time for yourself and enjoy our wellness Cult edit; feeling good often comes from the inside out.

When it comes to self-care and wellness, for me there is nothing better than a relaxing bubble bath and a good face mask; you can’t beat it. My favourite face mask to use when I’m wanting to de-stress is the Fresh Rose Face Mask, blended with real rose petals, rose water, cucumber extract and aloe vera gel it’s the perfect combination. This mask always leaves my skin feeling hydrated, soothed and calm, whilst also leaving me with a bright and healthy complexion. It’s the ultimate at home spa face mask.

Maintaining a healthy sleep pattern is one of the most important things to do to ensure you’re truly looking after yourself. A key aspect of wellness for me is having a consistent morning routine which I look forward to and gets me out of bed in the mornings. With lockdown and working from home, there was no better time than to really invest in my mornings and set myself up for a great day. For me, nothing represents wellness for than a nice hot bubble bath. I love to use luxury bath products as a treat to myself and as part of my weekly wellness routine. One product I have used and loved for a while is the Laura Mercier Honey Bath, not only does the product look gorgeous on the bathroom side it also is such a treat to use in your bath. My favourite scent is Almond Coconut, a lovely refreshing yet relaxing smell that fills up the room! A bath in the evenings really helps me unwind from the day, the addition of the Honey Bath takes this up a notch and leaves my skin makes my skin so soft. This really is an essential to add to your wellness routine.

Wellness to me wouldn’t be without the Aroma Home Time Out Diffuser. This helps me to relax at night as it includes Lavender, Camomile and Vetivert which is meant to help calm your body and help you sleep. Since using this I have also felt a difference in the morning when waking up and definitely feel refreshed.  The candle form, deep sleep heavenly candle of this is also amazing, and I tend to light it as I’m unwinding for the night. One thing I like to do whenever I am in need of some self-care or if I am feeling a little stressed is to use a mindfulness app. There’s no shortage of apps to boost your wellness, but my favourite is Insight Timer. There are over 90,000 free guided meditations on the app aswell as music to help you sleep and live yoga classes with teachers from all over the world. The guided meditations range from 1 minute long to over 2 hours so there is always time for some stress relief no matter how busy your day is.
