Unfiltered by Cohorted: From Love Island to Losing it All with the Haynes from Elsie & Fred

Join  us as the siblings Leanne, Natalie and Ryan Haynes, talk about their fashion brand, Elsie and Fred. From the name of the brand to the names of the products, as well as the benefits of working together so closely.

Leanne, Natalie and Ryan Haynes are siblings with a passion for fashion, running Elsie and Fred, a clothing brand that speaks to young people, helping them feel fierce and fun.

Starting in 2014, the siblings used to take trips to Thailand to pick up amazing vintage clothing to sell to the festival goers back in the UK. Now, they run the brand together from their offices in London.

Cohorted’s host, Ruby Norris, is joined by the siblings Leanne, Natalie and Ryan Haynes, to talk about their fashion brand, Elsie and Fred. They talk about the strong family connection that they have – from the name of the brand to the names of the products, as well as the benefits of working together so closely.

The siblings talk about the growth of the brand, how COVID affected their sales, and how the shift from surviving to thriving has been a difficult one for them all to accept. They discuss how coming from a working-class background has affected their mentality, but also drives them to set bigger and better goals for themselves, including improving their sustainability practices, one step at a time.
