The Prettiest Pink Restaurants, Bars and Cafes Across London

As the famous Elle Woods once said, ‘Whoever said orange was the new pink is seriously disturbed’ – and we wholeheartedly agree. London is home to an abundance of pretty pink cafes, bars and restaurants, all of which are perfect for levelling up your Instagram feed or for a well-deserved break from reality, with a cocktail in hand. To get you clued up on these gems, we spoke to DesignMyNight for their take on the prettiest pink spots from across the capital.

Dona Bar

If you’re looking for quirky interiors, tasty tacos and seriously good tequila, Dona Bar in Stoke Newington is the place for you. The bar was born through a mutual love of good quality mezcal, great music and female empowerment – so grab your gals and get on down. Open until 11pm on Tuesday and Wednesday, midnight on Thursdays and until 1.30am on weekends, this East London spot is perfect for an afterwork drink (or two), or a big night out. They also throw cabaret events, too – which we hear are well worth a visit.

Tonight Josephine

You are sure to have seen the neon hue of Tonight Josephine’s vibrant interior on your For You page, and if you haven’t, we hope you don’t mind us saying – but you’ve been living under a boulder. The beloved venue has expanded since the birth of its original Waterloo venue, and has now graced both East and South West Londoners with its presence in both Clapham and Shoreditch. Possibly the most Instagrammed bar in London (or even the world!?), Tonight Josephine is home to starburst cocktails, kitsch interiors and Paris Hilton’s mugshot in the bathroom toilets.

Peachy Queen

This West London venue was inspired by Britain’s OG influencer, Lillie Langtry. Dubbed the Kim K of her day, she was the first ever woman to endorse a commercial product (the OG Molly Mae, if you will), and debauchery followed in her wake. Peachy Queen encourages punters to channel their inner Lillie Langtry whilst using their seriously cute interior as a backdrop for Instagram pics, and ordering their party gal cocktail all night long.

The Lucky Club

Nestled on an unassuming street in the heart of Mayfair, The Lucky Club is almost undetectable to an untrained eye. Behind its neutral facade you will find pastel pink interiors, a strong drinks menu (including six variations of an espresso martini), and some of the tastiest vegan bao buns around. Oh, and their claim to fame? On their website they casually mention that they serve Mayfair’s most affordable margarita. Winner.

Girlfriend

At Clapham’s best cocktail bar you’ll find aesthetic, art deco inspired furniture and a stellar cocktail menu. If you’re suffering from the pre-payday blues, fear not – Girlfriend Clapham is home to one of the happiest hours in London, offering discounts on prosecco and classic cocktails from 5pm until 8pm every. dang. day. Your new best friend? You can always count on this place to welcome you with open arms.

The Skinny Kitchen

If you haven’t yet been, The Skinny Kitchen needs to be on your 2022 to do list. Born in Ibiza, the venue is known for its lively atmosphere and pornstar martini-fuelled brunches. The Skinny Kitchen is a haven for those who are gram obsessed, packed with neon signs, pink decor and an ivy filled pergola. So whether you are grabbing your morning coffee, catching up with friends over lunch or living it up at their high energy supper club, you know this place has your back.

Elan Cafe

Having taken social media by storm in the past few years, Elan Cafe now has 10 locations across London, as well as Paris, Dubai and Doha. It’s been described as over the top – but in the best kind of way. From floral installations to mirrored interiors, neon signs and an actual carousel horse, each location seems to out do the last – and it’s not just the food that’s oh so Instagrammable. Menu highlights include the s’mores cookie pan (which comes complete with edible flowers, of course), the blue sapphire latte and their picture perfect strawberry tart.

Peggy Porschen

The iconic Peggy Porschen parlour opened in Belgravia in 2010, inspiring a flurry of pink, Instagrammable venues in the years to follow. Created by award-winning wedding cake designer and entrepreneur Peggy Porschen, who was previously an air hostess with a passion for cake making, the boutique parlour is now famed for its pastel exterior, attracting visitors from across the globe to try the dainty cupcakes and afternoon teas that have now become synonymous with the venue.

Simmons Soho

Londoners will be all too familiar with the Simmons brand. Known for its kitsch interiors and uber cheap drinks, it may not be the first venue that springs to mind when scouring locations that are appropriate for an Insta opportunity, but the Soho location is home to vintage wallpaper and neon pink lighting that bathes the whole venue in a pretty pink glow. These good looks coupled with their £2.50 G&T happy hour make it an all round winner.

Annabel’s

World renowned members club Annabel’s throws parties for London’s elite. Possibly one of the city’s most beautiful venues, Annabel’s is a design-led space with rainforest-inspired bathrooms created by Martin Brudnizki, a famous nightclub and bar and storybook inspired interiors. But wait – there’s more. With an array of cuisines and menus as well as first class entertainment, Annabel’s is one for the bucket list – if you can get in, that is.
