The Five Books To Add To Your ‘To Read’ List This Month

Looking for a new book to curl up with or something to keep you occupied on your daily commute? We’ve got five great books to add to your ‘To Read’ list this month;

Over The Top by Jonathan Van Ness

The incredibly fabulous Jonathan Van Ness, of Netflix Queer Eye fame,
has just released his memoir Over The Top. This autobiography is real,
raw and brilliantly reads exactly in his voice. And it will having you
growing to love Jonathan even more than you do already. Find out what
made JVN into the man that he is today including struggles with
addiction, bullying and the loss of one of the most important people in
his life. This is a celebrity memoir where refreshingly nothing is held
back. Who’s your favourite member of the ‘Fab Five’?

The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid

If old Hollywood glamour is your kind of thing or you’d love to get a
glimpse beyond the red carpet and glitzy movie premieres, you simply
have to give this book a read. The life, career and loves of the titular
Evelyn Hugo is so vividly written that you’ll find it difficult to
believe that this woman and her life is fictional. It will also no doubt
have you itching to read more of author Taylor Jenkins Reid’s work.
Daisy Jones & The Six, which Reese Witherspoon is developing into a TV
series, is next on my list.

Lock Every Door by Riley Sager

You’re being paid thousands of dollars to housesit an apartment in one
of the most illustrious buildings in all of New York City. With
unparalleled views of Central Park, two floors of luxury and celebrities
for neighbours, could it be too good to be true? This book will keep you
on the edge of your seat from the very beginning and is easily the best
book that I’ve read all year. If you love a good thriller, this is the
book for you!

Postscript by Cecelia Ahern

The sequel to equally iconic book and movie adaptation, PS I Love You,
Postcript follows Holly’s story years later. Long after Gerry’s last
letter was delivered, a group inspired by what Gerry did for her, gets
in touch. But after finally beginning to move on from Gerry and her
grief, will getting entangled in the PS, I Love You club set her back or
move her forward even more? It is great to pick back up with Holly all
these years later.

Three Women by Lisa Taddeo

Speaking of fiction that feels like it’s real life, Three Women is the
exact opposite. The three women, in question, have been studied over
several years, creating a work of non-fiction that you will find it hard
to believe is not fiction. The desires and sex lives of these three
women and the ways in which their lives have been impacted by them, is
fascinating. It’s definitely a page turner that will have you longing to
discuss it with others. And there’s a reason why everyone has been
reading it this Summer.

What have you been reading recently? And which one or ones of these books sound like they could be up your street? Let us know!
