Self Love & Sustainable Lingerie

The power of a -good- lingerie set is not to be underestimated in its ability to helnurture self-love. Sinking into the trap of social media and a long scrolling session of comparing yourself to others can quickly crush your confidence. After years of struggling with my own body image, something I am sure we can all relate to, I unearthed the magic of finding an underwear set that made me feel strong and powerful and able to appreciate my own body for what it is.

In the spirit of encouraging self-love, I have compiled a list of brands to find some dreamy sustainable sets that are good for both your confidence and the planet.

Organic Basics

Organic Basics provide underwear that is simplistic in the best of ways, varying in shades and comfortable styles. With sustainable practices at its core, Organic Basics have partnered with environmentally friendly factories and use innovative materials like Tencel and SilverTech for production.

Lara Intimates

Using material made from waste fabrics, Lara Intimates provides a beautiful and inclusive range of underwear from an all-female team based in London. Everybody deserves to easily find underwear that fits their own unique shape, something this brand provides through offering sizes 26A to 36L with the promise of this range soon expanding further.

Dora Larsen

Dora Larsen is a family run business that believes in sustainability and transparency, whilst providing beautiful sets made from recycled lace and locally sourced fabrics. Their collections range from lacy bralettes to seductive bodysuits, giving everyone a little something to choose from.

Luva Hava

Luva Huva is another UK based brand providing lingerie and loungewear that’s all about empowerment and celebrating femininity. Their Brightonbased team make the items themselves, providing ethically produced pieces that are made with love and care. Beautifully made basics and lace pieces can be found made from organic cotton and locally sourced fabrics.

What is your favourite sustainable lingerie brand?
