Galentines Gift Guide

With Christmas and New Year’s now behind us, we can look forward to the most important celebration of all – Galentine’s Day.

Galentine’s Day is celebrated on February 13th, the day before Valentine’s Day. It’s a day dedicated to ladies celebrating ladies – or even Palentine’s pal’s celebrating each other – and showing your friends how much you care. My flatmate and I are big Galentine’s celebrators, so I’ve helped curate a Galentine’s gift guide so that you can show your friends a bit of love this February!

Photobook

The Papier Mini Hardback Photo Book is a perfect way to collate you and your friends’ memories together. Upload from your phone/computer or from social media some of your favourite photos together. You can totally personalise it with different layouts and captions. It’s so much fun to collate and no doubt throughout making it you’ll find some fabulous photos!

Friendship Print

On Etsy and Not On The Highstreet, you can support local businesses by buying some of these amazing Friendship prints. Some of my favourite include this custom-made print from PuddleInkPrints, which you can completely personalise to fit you and your friends’ image on. If you’re looking for something a bit more minimalist, I love these Best Friend definition prints.

Lush – Bath Bombs

Every year, Lush comes out with the best selection of bath bombs dedicated to Valentine’s & Galentine’s DayPersonally, I spend most Galentine’s Day and Valentine’s Day totally spoiling myself with a spa/pamper day, which is why a bath bomb is the perfect gift. Whether it’s just purchasing an individual one like this adorable Blow Me a Kiss Bubble Blower  or buying one of their miniature bath bomb gift sets like the Lots of Love Setthey are the best way to ensure your friend’s hava relaxing day!

Hotel Chocolat

Who says chocolate is just for those in a relationship? Now there are a hundred different treats on Hotel Chocolat that I’d personally love to gift and receive myself. There are also loads of options dependent on your budget. For those with a larger budget, the chocolate hampers or personalised gift creator boxes mean if you know your friend likes X, Y, Z chocolate, you’re only giving them the best. Their Valentine’s Day chocolate curations are also perfect for Valentine’s and Galentine’s

Empowering Books

How better to celebrate Galentine’s Day than by gifting books focused on empowering and embodying being a woman. My recommendations include:  Bloody Brilliant Women: The Pioneers, Revolutionaries and the Geniuses your History Teacher Forgot to MentionWomen Don’t Owe You PrettyThe Great Book of Badass Women . There’s nothing more inspiring than reading memoirs written by some fantastic and successful women including; Becoming by Michelle Obama & My Own Words by Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

A Simple Card

Sometimes, all it takes is a simple card to wish your special friend a Happy Galentine’s Day. Some of my favourite cards include  Sex & The City Carrie BradshawI’m So Happy We Are Best-TeasGalentine’s Day Singleton and this fabulous Beyonce Single Ladies Themed Card.
