Almost everyone hates Monday. It’s the first and official sign that the weekend is over and we pretty much have to go back to reality. We have to turn on our alarm back and go back to work which is not the ideal situation when we are tired and we necessarily don’t want to go..
However, there’s always something positive in each negative situation, so here are 5 reasons why we should not hate Monday and start embracing it!
New Start
It’s literally like a new beginning! For many, it’s time to start everything all over again. To start from scratch and to start new things. We often start a new TV show on Monday, it’s not without a very good reason. Take this opportunity to do things you like, start a new book, ask how your friends are doing, start a project, in short start something that you wanted to do for a long time.
Don’t Blame Monday
You might be allergic to Mondays because your alarm makes you go crazy, you hate your job, public transport is such a hassle – in short, it has nothing to do with Monday! If you feel extremely discouraged to wake up every single Monday then it’s probably time to find another career path or pursue a career that you are truly passionate.
An Opportunity To Be Productive
We tend to do tasks or things we all missed the previous week on Mondays for instance clean the house, do the laundry, go to the gym, start a diet – pretty much all the things we said we would do “later” on in the day or week. One of the main reasons why we hate Mondays so much is the fact that it means the weekend is over and we have to go back to the real world. Just look at it this way, Monday gives you the opportunity to be more productive, to evolve and to move forward in life!
Positive Mindset
In general, the beginning of the week clearly announces how the rest of the week will be therefore if you start your day with good vibes and a positive attitude – the rest of the week won’t be bad. If you start your day in a bad mood or on a bad note, the result will not be all rosy. Try to train your mind to look at the positive aspects instead of the negatives.
You Are Alive!
We sometimes do not want to get up on a Monday morning because we are not in the mood for it or even for other multiple reasons but keep in mind, we always have something to be grateful for. You are breathing, you are healthy, your loved ones love you, your friends love you and even if you have a bad day at work, you can confide in your friends & family. Do not feel discouraged and don’t do something that you will regret in the future.
