Treat Yourself: A Luxury Self-Care Guide

There has quite simply never been a better time to nourish our mind and bodies with some indulgent self-care. Here we share the best luxury self care products.

There has quite simply, never been a better time to nourish our mind and bodies with some luxurious self-care. Setting aside some allocated time to let ourselves be a little selfish and focusing purely on treating ourselves, does absolute wonders for mental health and stress levels. Whether you’re an early bird who enjoys the stillness and peace of the morningsor someone who prefers an unwinding experience at the end of the day, I have chosen a few luxury selfcare products that can be used whenever suits you. These products are guaranteed to provide those moments of pure restorative bliss.

Scents to Set the Scene

Invigorating the senses with some beautiful fragrances is a great way to set the scene for your self-care rituals.

Neom, The Wellbeing Pod - FROM £90

One way to instantly fill the room with calming scents is through diffusing essential oils. Neom provides ‘The Wellbeing Pod’ (being the diffuser) and a range of carefully selected essential oils which can be used for different purposes, depending on your needs. Whether that is some morning invigoration or some bedtime unwinding.  Oils available include a sleepy blend of English lavender, sweet basil or a calming combination of black pepper and bergamot; designed to de-stress.

Stoneglow, Rock Rose & Pink Pepper Tumbler - £21

Another scene-setting candle of choice is this one from Stoneglow. Consisting of a soft, sweet floral scent combined with notes of pepperpods and complimentary citrus.

Bubble Baths

Baths have been consistently proven as a method of calming down stress and anxieties. A good bubble bath with quality ingredients allows our senses to be invigorated and can sooth our bodies and minds.

Neom, Scent to De-Stress Real Luxury Bath Foam - £22

A foamy, softening and nourishing addition to your bath; consisting of coconut, aloe and sweet almond oils. Combined with the signature Neom de-stress fragrance of lavender jasmine and rosewood.

Kiehl’s Lavender Foaming-Relaxing Bath - £34

This bubble bath from Kiehls is designed to comfort and soothe the skin. Moisturising aloe vera and glycerine are enriched with relaxing lavender essential oils.

Body Care

As someone who is skin-care obsessed, I have been guilty of neglecting the rest of my body and have recently been introduced to the wonders of investing in moisturising all over, rather than just my face and neckOils, especially, can be a very therapeutic process when massaging into the skin

Elemis Frangipani Monoi Body Oil - £40

Transport yourself to Polynesian shores with the most nourishing body oil infused with Frangipani, Monoi and Coconut oils. Massage this into the skin after bathing to give yourself the full body glow of dreams, whilst also smelling divine.

Temple Spa Drift Away Aromatherapy Bath & Massage Oil - £25

An aromatherapy oil consisting of a calming blend of essential oils such as lavender, geranium, frankincense and chamomile, enriched with nourishing Vitamin E. This can be massaged into the skin and added to a bath to create the perfect unwinding experience.

Face Masks

self-care session simply wouldn’t be complete without some extra skin care. My personal favourite treat is choosing a face mask to pop on either in the bath or before bed.

Pixi Glow Glycolic Boost Sheet - £10

If you desire to start the day with a visible glow, these sheet masks are perfect for either morning or pre-bed application. The glycolic acid provides gentle exfoliation whilst the herbal extracts such as Red Ginseng and Aloe Leaf provide improved circulation and skin balancing properties.

Origins Drink up Intensive Overnight Hydrating Mask - £24

This mask is one which you can simply apply to your face and neck after your usual skincare routine, allowing it to work its hydrating magic overnight. The combination of hyaluronic acid and vitamins A, D and E means your skin will be packed with moistureproviding silky smooth and nourished skin upon waking the next morning.
