The Sun Essence You Didnt Know You Need

One skincare mistake a lot of people make is not applying SPF on a daily basis. Even if it’s a cloudy day, the damage to your skin is irreversible. With a lot of sunscreens having greasy formulas, they’re not ideal for wearing under makeup, and can put people of opting for daily SPF.

The K-Beauty brand Keep Cool” Soothe Bamboo Sun Essence is an organic (chemical) sunscreen with no white cast whatsoever. The formula leaves a smooth, matte finish and no greasy residue (it’s a dream under makeup). If you like sunscreens that feel moisturising while at the same time providing the maximum amount of protection (SPF50 PA++++) you’ll love this as much as I do.

This newly launched sunscreen from Keep Cool offers UV ray protection (UVA & UVB), and skin barrier strengthening properties. It is packed with 40% bamboo water to calm inflammation and hydrate the skinBeing essential oil and fragrance free makes this product a dream for those with sensitive skin.

Here are the key ingredients, changing the sunscreen game:

DiethylaminoHydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Bis-ethyexyloxyphenolMethoxyphenylTriazine (UV filters) is a blend of chemical filters ensuring maximum sun protection.

Bambusa Vulgaris Extract, also known as Bamboo extract, is potent in antioxidants and silica which encourages collagen production to improve skin elasticity.

Niacinamide, a skincare ingredient which has recently gone viral across social media. Otherwise known as vitamin B3, Niacinamide can help strengthen skin barrier, soothe redness, control sebum and fade hyperpigmentation.

Centella Asiatica Extract is an ingredient packed with amino acids, beta carotene and fatty acids, helping fight acne and offer anti-ageing benefits. Research also shows that a concentration of 5% showed significant improvement in skin moisture.
