From luxury brands to affordable cult favourites, with our recommendations, you’ll be going into Autumn in-the-know on what’s worth trying this month.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Liquid Lipstick – £22
“My favourite lip product to complete my makeup look. It gives full coverage with a rich colour that dries down to a weightless matte finish for smudge-proof wearability and long-lasting colour with using a very little amount of product. It doesn’t crack or feel dry and I usually add vaseline or gloss on top to give a slight shine. The flat sponge-tip applicator allows me to get the precise lining of the lips. The best feature is that it lasts all day. No need for touch-ups.”

The Ordinary- Niacinamide + Zinc – £8.90
“This product was recommended by a friend so I decided to try it out this month and so far, it has been good to my skin. I apply small drops of this onto my face morning and night before any heavy creams and within a week noticed that my pores are smaller and my skin feels softer. This product will definitely be staying in my skincare routine.”
– Pia, Social Media Executive
Benefit Hoola Bronzer; Shade Lite – £26
“I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect bronzer for ages. When you’re as fair-skinned as I am, it’s not easy to find the right shade. Everyone’s been obsessed with the Hoola Bronzer by Benefit for ages but before I tried it, I didn’t believe the hype. Well, I had to change my mind. Perfect for contouring or all over for a natural sunkissed effect. Can’t look back now.”
– Giada, PR Executive
Bybi Blueberry Booster – £12
“This product is a cold-pressed oil to help protect against damage emitted from blue light caused by phones and laptop screens. I mix 2 small drops in with my night cream as part of my evening skincare routine; the following morning my skin feels supple and protected leaving me with a perfect base for my makeup.”
– Anna, Buying Executive
47skin Anti-Blemish & Scar Repair Serum – £29
“Transitioning into my autumn skincare routine has shaken up my skin, but the 47skin Anti-Blemish & Scar Repair Serum has been a lifesaver! The formula smells citrusy and is a light, breathable and hydrating consistency which helps reduce inflammation & prevents breakouts. The serum is infused with Silver and Chitosan which forms a protective and hydrating seal on the skin, aiding regeneration of scars or breakouts. My September skin hero!”
– Emma, Head of Editorial
Pretty Athletic Cool Down: Purifying Gel Cleanser – £18
“This product has been great to incorporate into my morning post gym routine. Working out has its many benefits but clogged pores and redness is not one of them! So far I’ve found it hard to find products which combat the effects exercise can have on your complexion. The Cool Down Cleanser has worked a treat in preventing breakouts and also acts as a purifying mask which is handy for in the shower!”
– Rose, Business Development Manager
Glossier Stretch Concealer – £15
“I’ve been using this concealer as a foundation a la Katie Jane Hughes (aka the queen of makeup). Applied with a fluffy brush, it creates the perfect dewy base, and provides sheer coverage, evening out the complexion and disguising any pigmentation or redness.”
– Hollie, Partnerships Manager
Morphe 35H Hot Spot Artistry Palette – £24
“This month I’ve been loving the Morphe 35H Hot Spot palette, that featured in our September Box. I particularly love the amazing teal shades, that really emphasise my eyes and help them pop. Whether I’m going for a natural day time look with the soft peaches and pinks or a dramatic evening look with the teals and blues, theres shades for every occasion. Also super easy to blend which is a dream!”
