NEOM ORGANICS SCENT TO DE-STRESS REAL LUXARY BODY OIL, £35
January means two things: back to work and cold weather. With a new work year comes new projects and lots of planning and deadlines, and with cold weather comes dry skin. Using Neom’s De-stress body oil every evening really helps me to relax and also moisturises my dry limbs. My skin is nourished with this luxuriously rich oil, and the unbelievably calming blend of essential oils in the De-stress range literally does what it says on the tin; I’m left feeling calm and any stress from the day is alleviated.

BOSS THE SCENT FOR HER, £45
I’m really picky when it comes to perfumes as most of them gives me a headache… I rarely wear them unless they don’t make me feel dizzy and have a nice scent. Because of this I normally go for body sprays instead, however last year I tried the Agent Provocateur Fatale Pink and I was a huge fan! I wanted to start off this year by finding another perfume that I will really like all year long and so I went out to sample different perfumes from all the brands i’d had my eyes on. It took me a while to decide, but I went for the BOSS The Scent For Her eau de toilette. Smells good, doesn’t make me feel ill, therefore it’s a winner.

ANT MIDDLETON ‘THE FEAR BUBBLE’, £10
When it comes to January (and when we all generally attempt to get our lives in order) I always opt for an inspirational book to kickstart my motivation streak. After reading his debut book ‘First Man In’ last year, my 2020 recommendation is ‘The Fear Bubble by Ant Middleton’. Former Marine and frontman of Channel 4’s SAS: Who Dares Wins, both Ant’s books focus on his life experiences in the special forces and how to use his disciplined mindset in everyday life to overcome obstacles and push yourself and harness your fear into a positive. Inspirational reading to make you up your game.

DRINKFREEDAYS APP, FREE!
Lots of us feel like we’re drinking a bit too much, or too often, or just like we could do with some time off. I’ve been meaning to cut down on my drinking for a while and the New Year seemed to be the perfect excuse/opportunity to do so and try doing the Dry January Challenge. The ‘DrinkFreeDays’ app has made my journey a lot easier. It allows you to track your drink free days but also gives you tips to help you control your drinking and therefore can be used not only in January but all year long!
