Rosehip’s Rise to Beauty Fame

Now I don’t know about you, but when superstars with super-sleek skin claim to use a product, I instantly want it.

This recently happened with Rosehip Oil, as soon as Miranda Kerr was added to the list of serial users, I caved and bought a couple of different branded bottles. Did I know what it was? No, did I know what it actually did? No, totally clueless – I started to lather it on my skin and decided to do my research after.

Turns out, Rosehip Oil is extracted from a white rose bush that grows wild in the Southern Andes. Loaded with vitamins and essential acids to nourish the skin, its rise to beauty fame is no surprise.

Super soothing and easily absorbed into the skin, the dry and thin oil really is effective – with Vitamin A keeping moisture in the skin, Omega 6 reducing any redness and fine lines and Beta-carotene working as an antioxidant. Rejuvenating and refreshing for the skin, it’s no wonder even the Duchess of Cambridge includes Rosehip Oil in her daily routine.

So now we’ve confirmed how amazing it is – why not give it a try? We’ve included our favourite ones below:

The Ordinary, 100% organic cold-pressed Rosehip Oil – £9

Popular for incredible products and pricing, The Ordinary is always a skincare go-to; 100% pure, rich in vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids, it hydrates and supports the skin leaving it feeling SO fresh.

Herbal Dynamics Beauty, Clean & Calm Gentle Rosehip Foaming Cleanser – $22

The Clean & Calm facial cleanser supports the skin’s natural pH balance and gently cleans the surface of any impurities. The cleanser’s core ingredient is of course the antioxidant-rich rosehip seed oil, which sooths and regenerates the skin; one to try if you’re not used to applying oil to the face.

Trilogy, Rosehip Oil Antioxidant – $44

Boasting all of the amazing, Rosehip Oil benefits, this product is super popular and it’s advanced formulation of essential oils and red berry make it one of the most effective. A careful blend that works to replenish and renew the skin, it leaves skin radiant and rejuvenated.
