Face masks are a vital part of giving your skin that extra boost of TLC during your self-care routine. I aim to get a facemask into my regular routine once a week. It can give your skin either that extra richness, hydration, cleanliness or purification that you’re looking for, depending on your skin type.
Different face masks cater for different things. Whether that’s to moisturise, purify or detoxify, you have to ensure you’re choosing the right mask for you. A lot of this can be based on the type of skin you have and whether certain ingredients are beneficial for that skin type.
For example, someone with dry and sensitive skin should stay clear of abrasive ingredients such as clay, which will just continue to dry out the skin further.
