Everything You Need For The Ultimate Winter Pamper Night

A pamper night is perfect at any time of the year. But as soon as the evenings start getting darker and colder, there’s nothing more relaxing and comforting than a cosy pamper night at home.

And pamper nights aren’t just reserved for the weekends. A mid-week or even start-of-the-week pamper is always a good choice, kickstarting your week off by feeling fresh. Whether you’ve had a busy week at work, you’re going through a stressful time, or you just fancy giving yourself a little TLC, a pamper night can turn things around and make you feel incredible.

Here’s everything you need for the ultimate winter pamper night:

Put Your Phone on Do Not Disturb

This is your time and no one else’s (unless they’re invited of course). So pop your phone on ‘do not disturb’ and leave it somewhere that you won’t keep reaching for it. Time away from the rabbit hole that is our smartphones can really help you relax, switch off and immerse yourself in your pamper. This way, no one will distract you out of your zone and the notifications will still be there after

Light Some Candles

If you want to level up your pamper night, light some candles to really set the mood. Not only do they look gorgeous, providing soft, calming lighting to the roombut scents such as lavender and chamomile are really relaxing. Scented candles can calm you down, chill out and help you get into the ‘pamper mood’.

Put on Your Comfies

As soon as you’ve decided it’s pamper night, change out of any uncomfortable clothes and slip into some comfy loungewear you can really relax in. Lightweight clothing without thick waistbands are most comfortable. Plus, you can layer up with a cosy dressing gown and slippers on those cold winter evenings.

Order All the Snacks

If you’re going all out, order your top choice of takeaway and don’t even think about feeling guilty about it. Get together some of your favourite snacks to munch on too, because you deserve it!

Relax in the Bath

A bath is one way to get the ultimate pamper night experience. Throw in a bath bomb or some luxury bubble bath to really relax. Add music or an audiobook in the background or pop Netflix on your iPad and watch that series you just haven’t got around to finishing; help distract your mind. If you’re one of those people who likes to relax in the bath with a book, choose your favourite book that makes you feel good and get lost in the pages under the bubbles (without ruining your paperback!)

Put on a Hair Mask

A great pamper night idea for the ultimate self-care. Whilst you’re in the bath, this is the perfect time to apply a deep nourishing hair mask and let it work its magic on your locks. Not only will your hair look amazing afterwards, it should smell incredible too!

Do Your Skincare Routine – With All The Extras

And of course, bath time is the perfect time to apply a face mask too! Make sure you’ve started your skincare routine with a cleanse and exfoliate before you hop into the bath. Then you’ll be ready to apply your favourite face mask before relaxingFinish off your skincare routine by applying your night serums and moisturisers when finished in the tub. For extra luxury, use a jade roller or gua sha to massage your serums and moisturisers into the skin, whilst practicing some lymphatic drainage.

Exfoliate and Moisturise Your Body

Bath time is also the perfect time to give your body a little extra TLC too. A pamper night essential, choose your favourite body scrub and follow up with a rich moisturiser. Ensure your skin is quenched from head to toe and feeling silky smooth for the upcoming festivities.

Netflix and Nails

Binging on your favourite film or series is the perfect way to take your mind off the real world and chill out. It’s also a great time to paint your nails too. Unless of course you’re munching out – if so, make sure not to get nail varnish on your snacks!

Enjoy a Hot Drink (or a gin if your week has been a struggle!)

There’s no better way to warm up than a cosy hot drink. So grab your favourite mug and make yourself your favourite hot drink. You can even add marshmallows or a couple of biscuits as a treat and there’s plenty of inspiration on Pinterest. If you’ve had a particularly bad day/week and fancy something a little stronger, pour yourself a gin and pop your feet up!

Fresh Bedding & PJs

And what better way to end the ultimate winter pamper night than hopping into bed with some fresh bedding and fresh cosy PJs?! Top tip: change your bedding at the start of your pamper night so when you get tired, you can hop straight into a freshly made bed and get that beauty sleep. Give your pillows a couple of spritzes of pillow spray to really help you relax into the covers and drift off to sleep.
