Top Drugstore Products for Professional and Personal Use

Makeup doesn’t always need to be expensive to be good; we don’t need to break the bank to bake our face! Especially when it comes to mascaras, lip & eye liners & cream eyeshadows, which are incredibly affordable and multi-purpose in most case.

Even though we are now in another lockdown and aren’t required to leave the house as much, it’s still nice to feel groomed (even if you’re just at home) and why not surprise your employees with that glow when joining some work Zoom calls? Here are some of my favourite drugstore picks that you’re guaranteed to find in both my Pro Makeup Kit and personal makeup kit.

Boots No.7 Extreme Length Mascara:

This mascara lengthens, separates the lashes and never leaves clumps or looks cakey. This is perfect for those who want lashes to look like their own, but better… Plus, it doesn’t dry out like it’s more expensive counterparts do. RRP-£13.00

Boots No.7 Precision Lips Pencil:

The Nude shade is a dupe for the iconic Mac Cosmetics Spice lip liner and is perfect for making your lips look fuller, helping to define the Cupid’s bow naturally. This formula blends seamlessly and looks lovely just on its own too. RRP-£7

Rimmel London White Soft Khol Liner Pencil:

This pencil has been one of my favourites since I was a teenager; mostly used in the waterline and inner corners of the eye to make you look fresh and awake even if you don’t feel it. A white liner can make you go from looking like you’ve had 4hrs sleep, to a solid 8hrs! If you only have 2 mins just do this and your brows, it’ll make all the difference. RRP-£2.99

Revlon Colour Stay Creme Eyeshaow:

I love the Revlon Colour Stay Creme Eyeshadows in all the neutral shades. My favourites include 705 Creme Brûlée, 720 Chocolate, 730 Praline & 710 Caramel – this cream shadow is best applied using your ring finger and is nice to layer these shades for a buffed out natural brown smoky eye. A bonus: they last all day and don’t crease! RRP-£4.99
