With an option for every budget, banish those bags with these under-eye patches…
If you are like me and suffer from dark circles, fine lines and puffy under eyes, then you won’t be a stranger to an under-eye pad. I have been using them for years and after trying many different brands, I’ve finally found five masks that really work.
One of my main concerns with my under eyes is puffiness. When I wake up in the morning my eyes can be really puffy and sometimes sensitive, so when I saw that 111Skin had an under-eye mask specifically for de-puffing I had to try it. This mask is designed to tighten stress lines (I have loads of these at the moment) and uplifts the eye area. For the best de-puffing results I like to pop this mask into the fridge so it’s nice and cold before applying it to my under eyes. I like to use this mask after my morning skincare routine when my eyes are still puffy, I leave it on for around 20 minutes and it leaves my eyes feeling calmer and looking brighter and the puffiness really does go away!
An under-eye product that contains collagen is always one of my favourites and they seem to work really well. This eye mask is targeted at brightening the under eyes which is something that I have been needing a lot recently. The collagen in this mask works as an important building block for elasticity and works to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, it also includes Hyaluronic Acid which penetrates deeply into the skin to intensely hydrate the under eyes which helps with improving the appearance of fine lines. For this eye mask, I usually use it after a long day and I want to relax, I’ll do my evening skincare routine and then apply these pads for around 15 minutes and the skin under my eyes feels firmer and also more hydrated.
If you’re looking for a more affordable product then look no further than the Garnier Moisture Bomb Eye Masks, these mask work amazing well and you can find them anywhere. These masks are a little bit different because they are tissue masks where the other ones are gel masks, I like the tissue ones because they don’t slip down your face when wearing them so you can do other tasks with the pads on. If you get tired eyes, this is a perfect mask to try because they leave the eyes looking brighter and more refreshed and this mask also visibly reduces the appearance of eye bags!
These under–eye patches have had such hype surrounding them for a while and I definitely know why. These masks really do work at reviving puffy and tired–looking eyes. This mask is infused with a lot of great ingredients the main ones being cucumber which soothes the skin, Hyaluronic Acid to hydrate and Caffeine to provide an energising feel. These patches are hydrogel, so they feel amazing once they are easily applied to the under eyes and give off an instant cooling effect. These patches might look a little pricey but, in the tub, you get 30 pairs which is amazing and will last you ages! I only tend to use eye patches once a week, so they are definitely worth the extra pennies!
If you’re wanting to try out a product similar to the Pixi eye patches but want a more affordable option, then the Revolution Skincare Hydrogel Eye Patches are definitely for you! These eye patches have the added ingredient of Colloidal Gold which helps to lift and firm the delicate eye area. These eye patches are also super moisturising for the eyes because they include Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin, Allantoin and Algae Extract. After just 10 minutes you can feel the mask giving off a cooling hydrating sensation which leaves the under eyes long glowing and feeling refreshed. For just £15 you get 30 pairs of eye patches which I think is a great deal!
Using under eye pads and patches is a great way to brighten and de–puff your eyes but not all of them work. The ones I’ve recommended above I’ve tried and tested and they actually work and illuminating the under eyes!
