Travel-Sized Beauty Favourites for Your Next Holiday
Times are tough right now. As well as the ongoing societal problem of systematic and systemic racism against black people across the world, the Coronavirus pandemic continues. With many of us still abiding by lockdown restrictions, travelling has been severely disrupted.  You may have had a holiday planned that’s been cancelled or postponed. You might have planned to take a quick trip away to escape the hustle and bustle of life. You probably planned a staycation to get away from your hometown for a short while. Regardless of your travel plans, it’s annoying to have to put things on hold.

Face SPF Products You Need to Try Right Now
It’s hot. There I said it. It really crept up on us. We were given rain and storms before a heatwave no one saw coming. I’m the first to burn too. I’ll step outside and within 10 minutes, I’m a rosy hue. This list is as much for me as it is you and I’m excited about it, let me tell you.

Summer Lovin’
You've binge-watched Normal People, developed a mild case of repetitive strain injury from swiping left on boys who are 'just looking for a quarantine buddy ;)' and Love Island 2020 (much like my own love life) is cancelled.   If you're a hopeless romantic like myself and need your fix of summer lovin' in the absence of skin-tight white jeans peacocking around a firepit (I mock, but I've never missed an episode), then pick up a love story.

The Benefits of Meditation On Your Mental Health
Life is still a little on the crazy side right now… I mean, if you’d have asked me back in January what I thought I’d achieve this year, you can bet your bottom dollar I wouldn’t have said building a loungewear collection and not leaving my house for months, other than to go food shopping and walk the dog. No socialising… no holidays… not going into work…  Life has literally been flipped upside down for a lot of people and now more than ever, it’s important to look after our mental health and wellbeing. Spending most of your time alone, or with the same few people in your household can also be hard, especially if you’re a natural social butterfly.

Becoming Prepared in an Uncertain World…

The whole world going into lockdown brought on some real uncertaintiesGlobally, wwere catapulted into a whole new territory, in which none of us had ever experienced to this extent before.
To say people were shaken to the core is an understatement. We were faced with a reality of very strange and uncertain times, especially where jobs and businesses where concerned. Nobody quite new what to expect and it was very hard to accept. We had 6 monthsof not being able to go into work, school or even take part in our normal day to day activities; A very stressful and uncertain time for many.

Anytime we are hit with these negative experiences, it is very important to remain as positive and optimistic as you can. I for one apretty good at finding the positives in things, even in the most daunting of situations. Our world had come to a holt, but one thing we did have on our side was time and it was time to make the most of that.
Time is so precious and should be used wisely a lesson that some learn the hard way. I used this opportunity to get stuck into things I usually would not have the time for; I decided to study and develop my knowledge, as well as gaining more qualifications in the process.
I was so grateful to have the time to do all these things, things for me. A lot of us are sometimes too caught up in our day to day and routines to take on anything extra. This pandemic was a blessing in disguise and a great time to explore new avenues and all the things we tend to put on the back burner.

Turn your trauma into treasure...

I think it is so important to remain strong and positive, even when the cards seem stacked against you. Never let yourself feel defeated by circumstances we find ourselves in, but instead learn and grow from them.

Moving with the times and adapting to new situations brings you more fulfillment. I am currently training in a new career which is online based; Being able to work from a laptop, no matter where I am in the world and under any circumstances, is what I have taken from this experience – the sheer amount of opportunity.

Being based online is the way the world is moving, so I am taking this opportunity to explore different avenues and learn new skills. It is not easy being faced with uncertainty and can be pretty scary for most, but if you remain calm and except the situation and learn from it you can’t really go wrong.

Becoming prepared in an uncertain world is a smart move for anybody, especially those who have never experienced anything like we have this year. It’s time to take what we have learnt during this pandemic and ensure we are prepared for this situation if it was to ever occur again.

Learn to be fearless, adapt to the right frame of mind and have positive attitude to help overcome any obstacles. We are capable of a lot more than we tend to give ourselves credit for. Having a strong mental attitude is key for uncertainty and will help you to seek new opportunities with ease.
Take everything you can from our 2020 experiences and remain open minded for what is to come. Learn, grow and adapt; This is what I am taking from 2020 and into my future.
