Travel-Sized Beauty Favourites for Your Next Holiday
Times are tough right now. As well as the ongoing societal problem of systematic and systemic racism against black people across the world, the Coronavirus pandemic continues. With many of us still abiding by lockdown restrictions, travelling has been severely disrupted.  You may have had a holiday planned that’s been cancelled or postponed. You might have planned to take a quick trip away to escape the hustle and bustle of life. You probably planned a staycation to get away from your hometown for a short while. Regardless of your travel plans, it’s annoying to have to put things on hold.

Face SPF Products You Need to Try Right Now
It’s hot. There I said it. It really crept up on us. We were given rain and storms before a heatwave no one saw coming. I’m the first to burn too. I’ll step outside and within 10 minutes, I’m a rosy hue. This list is as much for me as it is you and I’m excited about it, let me tell you.

Summer Lovin’
You've binge-watched Normal People, developed a mild case of repetitive strain injury from swiping left on boys who are 'just looking for a quarantine buddy ;)' and Love Island 2020 (much like my own love life) is cancelled.   If you're a hopeless romantic like myself and need your fix of summer lovin' in the absence of skin-tight white jeans peacocking around a firepit (I mock, but I've never missed an episode), then pick up a love story.

The Benefits of Meditation On Your Mental Health
Life is still a little on the crazy side right now… I mean, if you’d have asked me back in January what I thought I’d achieve this year, you can bet your bottom dollar I wouldn’t have said building a loungewear collection and not leaving my house for months, other than to go food shopping and walk the dog. No socialising… no holidays… not going into work…  Life has literally been flipped upside down for a lot of people and now more than ever, it’s important to look after our mental health and wellbeing. Spending most of your time alone, or with the same few people in your household can also be hard, especially if you’re a natural social butterfly.

5 Multi-Purpose Beauty Products Everyone Needs in their Collection

When it comes to beauty products, there is nothing I love more than a good multitasker. As someone who has limited time to get ready, I am all over anything that can make my routine that bit quicker. If you are a hopeful minimalist and want to declutter your stash, these are the products for you.

If you are trying to save money by maximising the benefits youre getting out of your products, these are for you and iyou love a hardworking product then these are for youAll these products have a firm place on my shelf and I hope they inspire you to step up your beauty routine.

Weleda Skin Food

I use this in so many ways and will simply never be without it. As you can see it’s well-loved! This herbal scentedointment like thick cream is a saviour for dry depleted skinsbringing life back into your face. It can be used as a primer, highlighter, eyelid sheen, brow tamer, lip balm, cleanser and my favourite, a foot and hand cream – the list goes on! It is on the heavy side but only a dab is needed and oh boy does it nourish and soothe. A little tip, warm between your fingertips first before applying. This is a must-have and one of those products I would want if stranded on a desert island. It’s available at Look Fantastic and most beauty retailers from £7.95.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse

This oil is summer in a bottle. Its famous scent is intoxicatingwarm and slightly sweetyet subtle at the same timeI just love the smell of this, I could literally bathe in it! It’s a dry oil that can be used as a body moisturiserperfect for adding a slight sheen to your collarbones and chest area. It’s also wonderful as hair oil, just coat your ends in this and wrap up in a towel. Upon release, I can bet your tresses will look shinier, swisher and silkier! For an understated scent, I sometimes wear this alone instead of perfume. This can be purchased from many beauty retailers such as Cult Beauty from £18.50.

Ilia Color Haze Multi-Matte Pigment

This brand has taken over my makeup bag! Natural makeup made easy. This creamy formula works brilliantly as a cheek and lip tint, it’s an absolute staple. Only a tiny bit is needed to perk up your skin as it is pigmentedas the name would suggest! I love the cool metal applicator, which allows for easy and controlled applicationsIt’s a worthy investment, lasts well on the skin and the intensity can be built up easily. It is a product I reach for dailyThis can be purchased from SpaceNK for £30.

Biafine Emulsion

Another French pharmacy classicthis is very much held in high regard as being a cult product and for good reason. This cream soothes and protects, perfect for sensitive skins needing relief from irritation. This can be used as a body moisturiser, to calm razor burn, as a face cream after treatment or if you’re suffering from imbalanceIf it’s good enough for Elle Mcpherson, then it’s good enough for me! It’s a favourite behind the scenes at fashion shows, where it’s used as an allover multipurpose ointment and as a burns treatment. I’ve also heard it’s fantastic at treating hyperpigmentation, helping to fade those pesky scars left behind after a spot has exited the building. This is one you want in your stash and it can usually be found on Amazon for around £10.

Heritage Store Rose and Glycerin Spray

This is an inexpensive, highly moisturising, water-based mist that can only be best described as a liquid comfort blanket on your skin. It hydrates beautifullyrefreshes and soothes. I personally love layering this on in between my serums and I tend to reach for this throughout the dayensuring I keep it by my desk for whenever I need a pick me up. It is also a fantastic setting spray after makeup and works wonderfully on a dry scalp as a toner to soothe flaking and itching. It comes in a huge 240ml bottle and can be bought from Urban Outfitters for £10.
