Less Choice Might Not Be Such A Bad Thing
I don’t know about you, but my eating habits have definitely changed during lockdown. Availability and acceptance, of course, play a huge part in this, but let’s be honest, food is the biggest excitement. It’s a frequently visited topic of conversation in the house and the greatest joy.  Let’s momentarily glance back to pre-lockdown behaviour. We had become complacent. We could nip to the supermarket (now a major operation) or take an online shop to checkout in under half an hour (and have it delivered the next day, would you believe?).

Sleep Hacks: ways to wind-down
Sleep Hacks: ways to wind-down
Whether you struggle getting to sleep, staying asleep or even waking up, there’s something here that might make all the difference to your night time routine. Everyone’s mind and body works differently, but the science behind it is all the same. There are just some specific things that really don’t promote a healthy sleep and some that really do. With a little bit of patience and knowledge, you may figure out where you’re going wrong before bed… That conventional cup of caffeine, I mean tea, before bed? Could be the worst decision you make.

Why you need to Marie Kondo your life
Whilst we continue to spend time in isolation, the more we notice around us. You pick up on messy things you may not have noticed until you spend every working day sat in front that hideous, overcrowded bookcase (the one you throw all your clutter onto). With spring creeping towards and more time on our hands, there’s no better time than now to release your inner Marie Kondo and cleanse every inch of your life.

Face SPF Products You Need to Try Right Now

Its hot. There I said it. It really crept up on us. We were given rain and storms before a heatwave no one saw coming. Im the first to burn too. I’ll step outside and within 10 minutes, Im a rosy hue. This list is as much for me as it is you and Im excited about it, let me tell you.

Dermalogica SPF 30

Dermalogica has just released its Invisible Physical Defense SPF cream. Its a thick but smooth texture, which does leave that white residue on your skin for 10 or so minutes. It works wonders, completely preventing any burning or redness! I tried it on my shoulders and arms too, which worked almost just as well, but just dried far quicker (rather than being absorbed). 9/10 on the face, and well, thats what were here for really.

Alpha H SPF 50+

Their Daily Essential Moisturiser protects against both UVA and UVB rays, is lightweight and doesnt leave white cast on your skin. It also has the Pro-Vitamin B5, meaning added hydration to skin that absorbs quickly in the sun. Alpha H also states that its anti-ageing, so a winwin in my book.

Neutrogena SPF 25

When I asked my Instagram audience for their recommendations, the Neutrogena Hydro Boost City Sheild was one suggestion I had time and time again. At an SPF of 25, its a little less defensive than the others on our list, but nevertheless, its oil-free, water-based and at £12.99, its a must-try.

Clinique SPF 40

The Clinique Super Defense is a range of moisturisers and creams. From a multi correcting cream at SPF 25 and daily moisturiser at SPF 20 (with a separate night cream) to a multi correcting gel at SPF 40, this range has something for everyone. It claims to be sweat resistant also, making it one to test for those of us who choose to be active in the sun, rather than the sunbathers.
