Travel-Sized Beauty Favourites for Your Next Holiday
Times are tough right now. As well as the ongoing societal problem of systematic and systemic racism against black people across the world, the Coronavirus pandemic continues. With many of us still abiding by lockdown restrictions, travelling has been severely disrupted.  You may have had a holiday planned that’s been cancelled or postponed. You might have planned to take a quick trip away to escape the hustle and bustle of life. You probably planned a staycation to get away from your hometown for a short while. Regardless of your travel plans, it’s annoying to have to put things on hold.

Face SPF Products You Need to Try Right Now
It’s hot. There I said it. It really crept up on us. We were given rain and storms before a heatwave no one saw coming. I’m the first to burn too. I’ll step outside and within 10 minutes, I’m a rosy hue. This list is as much for me as it is you and I’m excited about it, let me tell you.

Summer Lovin’
You've binge-watched Normal People, developed a mild case of repetitive strain injury from swiping left on boys who are 'just looking for a quarantine buddy ;)' and Love Island 2020 (much like my own love life) is cancelled.   If you're a hopeless romantic like myself and need your fix of summer lovin' in the absence of skin-tight white jeans peacocking around a firepit (I mock, but I've never missed an episode), then pick up a love story.

The Benefits of Meditation On Your Mental Health
Life is still a little on the crazy side right now… I mean, if you’d have asked me back in January what I thought I’d achieve this year, you can bet your bottom dollar I wouldn’t have said building a loungewear collection and not leaving my house for months, other than to go food shopping and walk the dog. No socialising… no holidays… not going into work…  Life has literally been flipped upside down for a lot of people and now more than ever, it’s important to look after our mental health and wellbeing. Spending most of your time alone, or with the same few people in your household can also be hard, especially if you’re a natural social butterfly.

The Cult Edit: April Favourites

T his Month, despite the current climate, the Cohorted office is sharing their favourite coats/jackets. As we make the transformation into Spring and count down the days until we’re out of isolation, we want to share our top choices for a lightweight throw on, ideal for a day trip or spring evening that will complete your outfit.

IMITATION LEATHER SHIRT JACKET, £34.99

I’m a cold human, so my wardrobe is full of jackets and it’s rare you’ll catch me without some form of outer layer. This cream faux leather shacket (shirt-jacket, if you’re not a connoisseur of the world of coats like me), is perfect transitional piece for when the weather warms up! I’ll be wearing it casually with a white tee and jeans, and over a slip dress for dressier occasions.

KHAKI OVERSIZED BOMBER JACKET, £44.00

I’m not a huge fan of big coats, that’s why I opt for the lighter jackets and you can’t go wrong with a basic bomber jacket. The lightweight jacket is great for spring and to slip on for an everyday look. I love the khaki colour as it is perfect to rock an urban look, Styled with a pair of jeans, a tee and my favourite cap.

ASOS DESIGN COLOURBLOCK TIE SLEEVE TRENCH COAT, £75.00

It’s everywhere this month and there’s a reason for it. The ASOS Colourblock Trench Coat has stolen my heart. The tied sleeve details with a flattering belted waist, this not-so-basic trench is the perfect addition to any outfit. I’m LOVING the colour-blocking trend and the lilac contrasted against the cream works so well. This little trench has me ready for Spring!

ALL SAINTS BALFERN LEATHER BIKER JACKET, £238.50

Let’s face it, no wardrobe is complete without a staple black leather jacket and all hail All Saints for always coming through with the quality leather goods. The Balfern Leather jacket is an investment piece which can be styled with literally any outfit. The quality is well worth the money and years of wear! This style is also available in light grey and cream which is ideal for spring! p.s. they currently have 25% off online, thank me later.

DOUBLE-BREASTED BUTTONED BLAZER, £69.99

Since the blazer has made a huge come back, i’m not ready to get rid of them any time soon- just change the colours up a bit! This lightweight linen blazer is perfect for all spring occasions, pair with a cropped blue jean in the day or a floaty dress for a spring evening meal. The colour of this blazer completely wins me over.

WEEKDAY JILLIAN JACKET, £55

With spring here and summer just around the corner, it’s time to bring out this boxy, crisp jacket: the Jillian jacket. Being lightweight, organic cotton and practical, it’s suitable for all occasions. I plan to wear this with the other staple items in my wardrobe such as a white vest and black jeans – using the blank white canvas to play around with gold accessories.

BLACK PEACH SKIN CROPPED PUFFER JACKET, £21.00

I feel a jacket really makes an outfit, so I love to collect as many as I can to feel I have a different outfit for each day. My favourite is a puffer jacket, I love pairing this with a cross-over bag to complete the look! My ultimate go to place is PrettyLittleThing. The puffer jackets on there have a sense of an urban but classy vibe towards them… which I just absolutely love!

STONE EDITOR TRENCH, £63.00

What better way to step in to Spring than in a stone trench coat, a wardrobe staple that is in fashion year after year. My fave is the Stone Editor Trench from Topshop, which is currently on sale so grab it whilst you can.  I love the length of this Trench and think it is very wearable, it looks great with a simple outfit such as a classic white t-shirt and a pair of denim jeans.

ONLY CROPPED SHACKET, £38.00

Welcome spring the right way by chucking the big coat away and swap it for a light jacket, because let’s face it, who doesn’t LOVE jackets. This season I have eyes on this cropped cream jacket as you can wear it with anything and it just makes an outfit look a whole lot better. This is also perfect if you love an oversized look.
