A reason to exercise, that has nothing to do with looks
I used to be, quite firmly, anti-exercise. I was literally the nemesis of exercise. Sure, I knew in theory that it was supposed to make you feel better, look better, blah blah blah. But hating exercise became a part of my personality so deeply ingrained that it was almost a reflex to wince at the thought.

5 Ways to Stop Hating Mondays
Almost everyone hates Monday. It's the first and official sign that the weekend is over and we pretty much have to go back to reality. We have to turn on our alarm back and go back to work which is not the ideal situation when we are tired and we necessarily don’t want to go.. However, there’s always something positive in each negative situation, so here are 5 reasons why we should not hate Monday and start embracing it!

Antioxidants – Why you need them and how to get more
To say the world of nutrition is confusing is a bit of an understatement.  The sheer quantity of disease-fighting superfoods and life-changing diets has got out of hand (in my opinion).  We not only have too much choice but a whole host of conflicting advice.  This can add pressure to our already over-worked brains, and it’s all too easy to lose motivation (if we don’t see results by the end of January) and resort to old habits.

How To Streamline Your Wardrobe In Preparation For Summer

A s you prepare to store or pack away your Winter clothes, why not take the opportunity to streamline your wardrobe, with some of my top tips;

Use storage bags or boxes to store your ‘out of season’ or ‘occasion clothing.’  I really rate the large IKEA storage boxes for keeping Winter coats, hats, boots during the warmer months. It gives you more space to access your Summer clothing and also keeps your out of season pieces from attracting mould or moths when not in use. Turn all your hangers to face outwards and give yourself a set amount of time, I usually give myself a month. This is a great tip for seeing which pieces you actually wear.

Operate a one in one out system. When you whittle down your wardrobe to pieces that you wear, fight the temptation to fill it with too many new items as the seasons change. Operating one in, one out saves your wardrobe from bursting at the seams and also keeps it a lot more streamlined and easier to work with.

As the month goes on, when you wear something and put it back on its hanger, then turn the hanger to face inward. At the end of the month you’ll be able to see clearly what has been worn and what hasn’t.

Only keep what you truly feel fabulous in. No, you don’t need six white t-shirts when only one fits you perfectly. You also don’t need anything that takes up precious space in your wardrobe that makes you feel anything but fabulous. It’s time to get rid of ill-fitting pieces or anything that makes you feel crap when you wear it.

Are you looking forward to the warmer weather and swapping big coats and boots for floaty dresses and skirts?
