Less Choice Might Not Be Such A Bad Thing
I don’t know about you, but my eating habits have definitely changed during lockdown. Availability and acceptance, of course, play a huge part in this, but let’s be honest, food is the biggest excitement. It’s a frequently visited topic of conversation in the house and the greatest joy.  Let’s momentarily glance back to pre-lockdown behaviour. We had become complacent. We could nip to the supermarket (now a major operation) or take an online shop to checkout in under half an hour (and have it delivered the next day, would you believe?).

Sleep Hacks: ways to wind-down
Sleep Hacks: ways to wind-down
Whether you struggle getting to sleep, staying asleep or even waking up, there’s something here that might make all the difference to your night time routine. Everyone’s mind and body works differently, but the science behind it is all the same. There are just some specific things that really don’t promote a healthy sleep and some that really do. With a little bit of patience and knowledge, you may figure out where you’re going wrong before bed… That conventional cup of caffeine, I mean tea, before bed? Could be the worst decision you make.

Why you need to Marie Kondo your life
Whilst we continue to spend time in isolation, the more we notice around us. You pick up on messy things you may not have noticed until you spend every working day sat in front that hideous, overcrowded bookcase (the one you throw all your clutter onto). With spring creeping towards and more time on our hands, there’s no better time than now to release your inner Marie Kondo and cleanse every inch of your life.

Important Life Factors
There’s never not a ‘right’ time to learn these 7 key factors of life. When you feel like you’re on top of the world or when you’re at the lowest of lows, acknowledging the 7 factors of wellness and understanding how to utilise their purpose to your personal life, will easily enhance the great times and allow you to pick up from the bad ones.   Each factor is just as important than the other, but some will be more relevant and more important in our day to day lives. There’s nowhere to say you have to be perfect at all 7, it’s just a guideline on how to live a healthy, happy and mindful lifestyle.

Quotes every Career Girl needs to hear

Do you ever wake up a Monday morning wanting to hide under your duvet and not face the world? Or perhaps the Sunday night dread kicks in and messes with your head.

Sometimes all you need is a little career quotivation to kickstart your week and change your outlook. Perhaps they’ll give you that little push to own the board room, ask for that raise, leave a job you hate or just become the confident person that you always know you were. Let’s start with Queen B…

“Why do you have to choose what type of woman you are? Why do you have to label yourself anything?” - Beyonce

Do we really need to be labelled and put ourselves in to little boxes in life? We’re not clothes, we’re people, so if you are a bit of everything or not, don’t feel like you need to define yourself. The same goes for your work personality, you don’t have to label yourself as the one who likes to stay late. Get your work done by managing your time effectively and leave on time for once!

``What I know is, is that if you do work that you love, and the work fulfills you, the rest will come.`` - Oprah

This is exactly it. Sometimes we do things just to get by but it’s important not to get stuck. Remind yourself daily of where you are and where you want to be and how you’re going to get there.

“I don't think I'm even close to fulfilling my potential.” - Kerry Washington

Don’t let the job hinder your potential either. If you feel you’ve done all you can do and there is no room for progression maybe it’s time to move on. And it’s okay to say to yourself that you’ve outgrown things – it’s life after all.

Now you’ve read this, go out there and be the go-getter you’ve always wanted to be.

There is a whole world out there waiting for you.

I have been in and out the Bloggersphere since the days of LiveJournal and when Tumblr was the originally ‘cool’ blogging platform. Over the years, this industry has changed so much, I do question if I am actually part of it or if I’m on the outskirts looking in. I wouldn’t say I was your ‘typical’ blogger either. I don’t care about getting the perfect flat lay or feeling bad for not posting, I just enjoy writing. If you’ve made it this far, thank you for reading. Anyway, I love to travel, indulge in a glass of white wine, when plans are cancelled and purchase overpriced makeup. I guess that’s me in a nutshell, trying to figure out this thing called life, have fun and never lose sight.
