Travel-Sized Beauty Favourites for Your Next Holiday
Times are tough right now. As well as the ongoing societal problem of systematic and systemic racism against black people across the world, the Coronavirus pandemic continues. With many of us still abiding by lockdown restrictions, travelling has been severely disrupted.  You may have had a holiday planned that’s been cancelled or postponed. You might have planned to take a quick trip away to escape the hustle and bustle of life. You probably planned a staycation to get away from your hometown for a short while. Regardless of your travel plans, it’s annoying to have to put things on hold.

Face SPF Products You Need to Try Right Now
It’s hot. There I said it. It really crept up on us. We were given rain and storms before a heatwave no one saw coming. I’m the first to burn too. I’ll step outside and within 10 minutes, I’m a rosy hue. This list is as much for me as it is you and I’m excited about it, let me tell you.

Summer Lovin’
You've binge-watched Normal People, developed a mild case of repetitive strain injury from swiping left on boys who are 'just looking for a quarantine buddy ;)' and Love Island 2020 (much like my own love life) is cancelled.   If you're a hopeless romantic like myself and need your fix of summer lovin' in the absence of skin-tight white jeans peacocking around a firepit (I mock, but I've never missed an episode), then pick up a love story.

The Benefits of Meditation On Your Mental Health
Life is still a little on the crazy side right now… I mean, if you’d have asked me back in January what I thought I’d achieve this year, you can bet your bottom dollar I wouldn’t have said building a loungewear collection and not leaving my house for months, other than to go food shopping and walk the dog. No socialising… no holidays… not going into work…  Life has literally been flipped upside down for a lot of people and now more than ever, it’s important to look after our mental health and wellbeing. Spending most of your time alone, or with the same few people in your household can also be hard, especially if you’re a natural social butterfly.

The secret to flawless skin

A lot of women think the secret of having flawless and perfect skin is by using expensive skincare products, doing crazy treatments or simply due to genetics. But that’s not the case! Anyone can have flawless skin if you follow these tips carefully.

  1. Healthy Diet

It’s no surprise that maintaining a healthy diet is the first tip to get flawless skin. The food you consume plays a huge part when it comes to your skin.

You can notice a difference when you eat junk food versus when you eat healthy food. You don’t need to maintain a strict diet, it’s all about having a healthy balance.

In addition, some people are allergic to certain foods or ingredients, for instance some woman get allergic reactions in form of pimples, acne, rash whilst others have a bad stomach.

Take notes of what you eat and see if you get any allergic reactions on your skin from that way, you can easily find out if you are intolerant to certain food.

  1. Good Hygiene

I’m pretty sure it’s something most people already know but good hygiene is the key to flawless skin. Always wash your hands and make sure you don’t touch your face constantly.

Most women have the habit of touching the face that’s the reason why it’s important to have clean hands. You don’t want any germs or bacteria on your skin! Another tip is to wipe your phone screen on an everyday basis. Another thing that’s constantly touching our faces is our phones.

  1. Knowing Your Skin Type

In order to have great skin, it’s important that you know what skin type you have. From that way, you can research and incorporate skincare products that work specifically for your skin type. Consult a dermatologist or a beauty consultant if you have no idea what skin type you have.

  1. Skincare Products That Work For You

As I mentioned previously, after finding out what skin type you have, you can use skincare products that will work amazingly on your skin. The products don’t have to be really expensive nor cheap, it’s all about finding the right products that work for your skin.

  1. Taking Care Of Yourself

Last but not least, it’s really important that you take care of yourself mentally and physically. Most of the times, the acne or the imperfections we have on our skin is due to stress. Try to relax!

Nobody has “perfect” nor “flawless” skin, we all have acne, discolouration, spots, acne scars, etc. The key to flawless skin is to take care of ourselves. Make sure you eat healthy and don’t stress!
