Skincare From Figs & Rouge

Figs and Rouge, four beauty and skincare favourites. They’re a brand that focus on enhancing radiance and bringing out our own unique inner glow, so this brand is perfect for anyone who’s looking to add some glow to their skin this summer. I’ve always been so pleasantly surprised by the brand myself so I’m very excited to share some of my top picks with you!

Morning Revive Oil

First up, is the Morning Revive Oil which is their concentrated moisture shot facial oil. The oil is designed to deeply nourish and hydrate the skin and renew dull and tired complexions, and I’ve found the claims to be pretty spot on! I love applying this one in the morning before moisturizing, it adds such a lovely radiant glow to the skin and leaves it feeling hydrated without having that greasy feeling on the skin. It’s not the richest oil, and does feel quite light so I do like something a little heavier in the evening but for the morning it’s great. So, this ones definitely a great option for anyone looking for a lighter oil to use throughout the summer months!

The blend is packed with some great ingredients including Rosehip Fruit Oil, Evening Primrose Seed Oil, Rosemary Leaf Oil and Calendula Oil, so there’s lots of great oils being absorbed into the skin, perfect for nourishing the skin after a long sleep! I’ve also found the oil sits very nicely under any face makeup too and absorbs into the skin almost instantly, which is always a winner for me as a huge makeup lover. Overall it’s just a really great all rounder, that I highly recommend if you’re on the look out for a new day time oil to try!

Illumination Eye Balm

Next up is their Illumination Eye Balm which is also from their Morning Revival range! This is actually one of the best eye creams I’ve tried, I think so many companies promise too much when it comes to eye creams, for example completely banishing dark circles, which is a pretty bold claim, right? This one however claims to soften the eye area, diminish puffiness and restore tired eyes, and that’s exactly what it does! It’s a rich formula that applies really smoothly and evenly to the skin, helping to smooth out fine lines and creating the perfect makeup base. Trust me, concealer applies so much better over this!

As well as helping to smooth out the skin, I’ve also found this one helps to slightly brighten my under eyes and depuff any tired morning eyes, which is perfect for someone who struggles to get their full eight hours of sleep! It also moisturises the eye area really well too, so I can imagine this would be a great option if you’re suffering from any dryness around the eye area. Again, like the oil, I think this one is such a great all rounder and is an eye cream that actually lives up to it’s claims which I think is so rare with a lot of eye creams!

Morning Revival Rose Cream

Next up is another skincare item, their Morning Revival Rose Cream, which makes for the perfect morning moisturiser! It’s a really lightweight formula but still adds a good amount of hydration to the skin and leaves the face with a radiant glow, so this ones especially great for anyone with oily skin who’s looking for something a little lighter and less heavy, especially throughout the summer months. I also think the formula would be great for anyone with sensitive skin too, as it’s a very delicate moisturiser!

Again, just like the eye balm this one applies so evenly to the skin and always seems to leave my skin feeling quite a bit smoother, making it perfectly prepped for any makeup application. It absorbs into the skin pretty quickly too meaning no waiting around, perfect if you’re short on time in the mornings and are looking for something quick and easy to apply before makeup. Overall, it’s a great summer moisturiser, so if you’re looking for something a little lighter for the warmer months I do highly recommend this one!

Retail Price: £35

Rose Glow Drops

Last up, and probably my favourite thing I’ve tried from the brand so far are the new Morning Revival Rose Glow Drops! I’ve been using this under my foundation, mainly on my cheekbones and it leaves such a pretty soft dewy finish to the skin, perfect for achieving that natural glowy look. It glides onto the skin so evenly, and sits really well under foundation without separating or clinging to any dry patches like some liquid highlighters can. The drops can also be mixed in with moisturisers and foundations too, to help create an overall glow or applied on top of foundation for something more intense, so it’s a great multi-use product!

It’s quite pricey for a liquid illuminator at £28 a bottle, but you hardly need much product at all for results so this bottle will definitely last you a good while! As well as the pretty finish it’s also packed with some great skincare ingredients too including Rose Water, Calendula and Glycerin, making it that little bit extra special compared to other liquid illuminators on the market at the moment!

Retail price: £28

…and that’s it! I hope you enjoyed hearing about my top picks from Figs and Rouge, I think they’re such an underrated brand in the beauty world that have some amazing unique products. So if you’re looking to try out a new brand this summer, I can highly recommend giving Figs and Rouge a try! Let us know in the comments what your favourites are from the brand?
